FAQ's

What is the latest time an order can be placed?

An order must be placed by NZ 12 Midday for the delivery schedule to apply.
Sweetblooms is unable to organise delivery on Sunday or public holidays. If an order is received over these times it will be processed the next business day.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver nationwide throughout New Zealand.

How long will the arrangement last?

Depending on the type of arrangement, most will last at least 3 months from order date. However all arrangements need to be kept at room temperature so the chocolates do not melt. This also means keeping them out of direct sunlight. Care instructions will be included on a card in the recipient's gift.

How do I eat the chocolates?

Depending on the type of chocolate, they can either be unwrapped straight from the arrangement without disturbing it or the chocolate stems can be removed and the chocolate gently pulled off. The details of how to eat the chocolates will be included on a card in the recipient's gift.

What sort of payment options do you have?

Sweetblooms accepts Visa , Mastercard and American Express. If you have a PayPal account you can pay via this. We also accept direct deposit, for details please email or call on 021 345102.

Can you custom make an arrangement/bouquet?

Yes, if there is something specific you are after we can try and accommodate your request. However 24 hours notice is required.

How is my purchase wrapped?

All gifts from sweetblooms are packed with care in acid free tissue in a stylish recyclable gift box. This is then packaged in a brown carrier box for protection whilst in transit.

Can you guarantee an exact delivery time?

No, unfortunately we can not guarantee an exact time for delivery. But we can trace the delivery if necessary.

What happens if there is no one at the recipient's address?

The courier company will do their best to deliver when someone is at the address provided. However if no one is there, they will leave the gift at the front door and as much in the shade as possible. We suggest that you ensure someone will be at the delivery address on the day of delivery as Sweetblooms does not take responsibility for packages that are left on doorsteps.

What would happen if I supply the wrong address?

Please try to provide the correct information, whenever possible please also provide a phone no. for the recipient too. The more information we have the easier it is for the courier company to ensure the package is delivered correctly. However if the information is incorrect and the courier company is unable to deliver, we would call you as soon as we have been alerted so that we could try and re-deliver as soon as possible. There is usually no extra charge for re-delivery in these circumstances. However we do not take responsibility for packages where the address is incorrect and the package is not recovered.

What extra information do you require for a rural delivery?

Rural deliveries can take up to 3 days to be delivered. With rural deliveries the more information you can provide the better (e.g. 2 houses, past the petrol station on Samson Road, house with large green gates out front). Also when possible please provide the recipient's phone no. We will do everything we can to ensure the package is delivered.

How do I know you have received my order?

During the check out process you will be asked to provide an e-mail address. A confirmation of your order will be sent to this e-mail address as soon as the order has been placed.

What if I need to cancel my order?

If you do need to cancel your order, you will need to contact us ASAP. If the order has already left our premises then unfortunately we are unable to cancel it. If you cancel an order and give us less than 24 hours notice 50% of the full cost of the order is charged. If you do give us sufficient notice we are able to refund your money, less a $5 administrative fee. Custom made orders can not be cancelled but you are able to postpone them.

Are you able to deliver to hospitals?

Yes, it is a wonderful gift for someone in hospital. However please ensure you provide as much information as possible ie patients full name, ward details, floor and room number if you have it.
